Franklin Thomas Strang, 73, of Lone Oak, passed away August 4, 2013 at Hunt Regional Medical Center.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 10th at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Sam Calk officiating.  

Born March 10, 1940 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Frank was the son of George and Ruth Falon Strang.  On April 17, 1987, in Greenville, he married Goldie E. Cruse.  He was a retired aircraft mechanic from E-Systems and was a veteran of the United States Navy. 

His survivors include his son Tommy Strang of Brashear; daughters Tabatha Wilson of Greenville and Starla Strang of Point; brothers Pat Strang of Nevada, Ed Strang of Colorado, Vern Strang of Iowa, Dan Strang of Kansas, and Donny Strang of Arizona; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
