Dorothy Mann Martinez, 87, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 14, 2026.
Dorothy married Abel D. Martinez on April, 1961, in San Antonio, Texas. Together they built a life centered around family and love. She retired from the San Antonio Independent School District in 1994.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Abel Martinez Jr. and wife, Denise; her daughters Sharon Garcia and husband, Enrique, and Deborah Dunn; along with her many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy leaves behind a beautiful legacy through the generation of family she loved so dearly. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
A Rosary will be held at 6:00P.M. on Monday, September 21, 2026, in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home, with visitation to follow until 8:00P.M.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00A.M. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at St. William Catholic Church, with Father Javier Diaz officiating.
