Mollie Ann Rhodes, 72, of Greenville, Texas, passed away February 13, 2024, at her residence. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Star Cemetery in Point, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mollie was born August 12, 1951, in Eustace, Texas, to Isaac Jack and Bernice Hicks Forbes. She married James Rhodes on May 31, 1969, in Point, Texas. She worked as a Title Clerk in automobile business. She was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Mollie was the strongest of warriors and bestest of friends.
She is survived by her husband, James Rhodes; son, Jeff Rhodes and wife, Sam; daughters, Toni Foster and husband, Denver, Jennifer Goss and husband, Jody, Ginger Bryant and husband, Jason; brothers, Frank Forbes and wife, Kathy, John Forbes and wife, Shirley, James Forbes and wife, Laura; sister, Emma Forbes; sister-in-law, Doris Forbes; grandchildren, Maci Torres and husband, Abe, Josh Denton, Jordan Denton, Zach Bryant, Rylee Goss, Carson Rhodes, Tyler Bryant, Addison Goss, Lainey Rhodes, Jagger Goss, Kaede Rhodes and Emree Bryant.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Billie Forbes, Tim Forbes and sister, Minnie Quinn.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Abe Torres, Josh Denton, Zach Bryant, Carson Rhodes, Tyler Bryant and Jagger Goss.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ''Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.'' Proverbs 31:28-29

    MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY. CONSIDER IT A BLESSING TO HAVE KNOWN MOLLIE. CONSIDERED HER A PART OF MY LIFE. MEETING JAMES WAS A SPECIAL MOMENT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE SAME WITHOUT THAT MEETING AND BY DOING SO ,MOLLIE AND THE CHILDREN BECAME A PART OF IT AS WELL. THE AUTO INDUSTRY KEPT US ALL LINKED TOGETHER. CHERISH THE MEMORIES, CONSIDER IT A BLESSING AND AN HONOR TO HAVE BEEN A PART OF THIS CIRCLE.
