I just learned about Carla's passing from a former Raytheon colleague. So sorry to hear this. She was a joy to work with. We even had a connection I wasn't aware of as I her maiden name was, Maldonado. I went to high school with Paul Maldonado, a great guy. Prayers for the family.

Carla my first friend at Raytheon. She was my colleague, mentor and friend. My love and respect for her grew exponentially with time as we worked closely together for almost 9 years. We had many work travel adventures, always laughing at the various things that would seem happen to us when together, creating memories that kept us entertained until the next trip. She was a constant source of quiet guidance and support for our team, never seeking the spotlight for herself but truly just helping all around her.
Beyond all she did at work, she was the example I aspired to be in how she cared for her family and friends. She truly loved being a wife, mom and NaNa. I’m so grateful that I was blessed to have had Carla in my life and she will be missed terribly.

My heartfelt condolences goes out to Carla's family. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She would often giggle as each time I spoke to her, I would call her by her whole name Carla James Conover. She would say Carla is fine. We will miss her earthly presence, but to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Rest in Love, Carla James Conover.
