Treva Phillips, 82, of Greenville, passed away on May 22, 2023, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Blue officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Treva was born August 16, 1940, in Temple, Texas to Gilbert W. and Thelma Arnold Schwake. She married James Phillips on November 23, 1956, in Waco, Texas. They were owners of the Greenville Sonic on Wesley Street. She was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, James Phillips; sons, Terry Phillips and wife, Kristi, and Gary Phillips and wife, Stacy; daughter, Tammy O'Dell; grandchildren, Cody Phillips and wife, Makyla, Jason O'Dell and wife, Rachel, Kyle Phillips and wife, Bayli, Rachel Phillips, Matthew Phillips, and Haley Phillips and fiancé, Conner Phillips; great-grandchildren, Mylah O'Dell, Lincoln O'Dell, Cayson Phillips, Bryndal and Breeley O'Dell, Kylin Phillips, and one on the way, Ryker Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Carlita Connally, brother-in-law, Harold Connally, along with aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Cody Phillips, Jason O'Dell, Kyle Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Conner Phillips, and nephew, Curtis Connally.

    Just learned tonight from Gary. My father had always wanted to drop in to say hello to Treva and Jim. We did tonight.

    We all have fond memories of your dear mother on Hillcrest. She was such a good friend to our mother.
