Jimmy Leo Stites, 83, of Greenville, passed away on May 6, 2023, in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 15, 2023, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brent Grissom officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 P.M., at Arledge Ridge Cemetery in Bonham, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the funeral home.

Mr. Stites was born September 21, 1939, in Watonga, Oklahoma to William Thomas Stites and Thula Pearl Cunningham Stites. He married Barbara Harris on April 21, 1959, in Modesto, California. He retired after 30 years from City of Greenville as a Control Room Operator and was a member of First Assembly of God.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Stites; son, Allen Stites; daughters, Larna McDowell and Tamra Miller; grandchildren, Tristan Glen, Brad Coker, James Coker, and Victoria Coker; along with numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Travis Stites, his parents, granddaughter, Mandy Nicole McDowell and six siblings.

Pallbearers will be Allen Stites, Tristan Glen, Brad Coker, James Coker, and Robert Artherton.
