Roger Dail Smith, 75, of Greenville, passed away on November 23, 2022, in Greenville, Texas. A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Greenville Health and Rehab. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Smith was born May 30, 1947, in Durant, Oklahoma,
to Willie Jackson Smith and Gladys Calhoun. He retired as a painter and a
Veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He loved telling jokes
and making people laugh.
He is survived by his daughter, Beverley McKenzie;
brothers, David Smith and Bill Smith; sister, Carol Woodworth; grandchildren,
Blake Cantrell, Carley McKenzie, Savannah McKenzie and Bailey White.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister; and
three brothers.
