Freida M. Boofer, 77, of Greenville, passed away on October
30, 2022, in Greenville. A graveside
service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Memoryland Memorial Park with Rev. Steve
Payne officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Coker-Mathews
Funeral Home.
Freida was born on
December 30, 1944, in Greenville, Texas to Charles Jewel Wall and Willie
Maurine Garrett Wall. Freida married
Bobby Glen Boofer on April 14, 1977, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Freida was a
member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church and was a housekeeper and worked as a
janitor for Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Freida is survived
by her son, Eric Jones of Greenville, sister, Billie June Head of Greenville
and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Freida is preceded
in death by her husband and parents.
The family request
in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Special Friends Dept. at Highland
Terrace Baptist Church.
