Barbara Leota Fields, 79, of Commerce, passed away on
September 28, 2022 in Campbell, Texas.
Arrangements were made with Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. A service will be held at a later date.
Barbara was born May 20, 1943 in Jones, Texas to Dorse Lee
and Wilma Lee Burkhart Allen. She
married Glen Fields on January 26, 1973.
Barbara was a housewife that enjoyed gardening, helping
others and spending time with her grandchildren. Some of her favorite activities was attending
sporting events that her grandchildren participated in and spending time
fellowshipping at Cross Power Church.
Barbara is survived by her son, Jason Fields and wife, Sara
of Campbell; daughter, Lisa Smith and husband, Bud of Greenville, South
Carolina; brother, Bobby Allen of Arlington; Sisters, Billie Phillips of Lavon;
Diane Miller and Rick Bench of Brashear, Teresa Cantrell of Roxton;
grandchildren, Will Moody, Grace Smith, Kaylee Derrick, Lexie Fields, Braden
Fields; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son,
Curtis Ford; brother, David Allen; and grandchildren, Coleman Moody.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FISH Ministries and Salvation Army of Hunt County.

, TX Saturday, October 8, 2022 Tootie was beautiful inside and out. She was always so sweet to me as a young teacher at Fannindel and later as Coleman's teacher. She was a blessing to so many lives through the years. I know there was a joyous reunion in Heaven when she arrived with Coleman.
