Joe Mike Clayton, born September 20, 1941 in Commerce, Texas to J. D. Clayton and Thelma A. Clayton, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his father, J. D. Clayton; his mother, Thelma A. Clayton; his sister, Patricia C. Isom; his brother-in-law, Jimmy J. Isom; and his nephew, Mark A. Isom.
He is survived by his niece, Cynthia A. Isom; niece, Brenda Isom; great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
The visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. The funeral service for Joe Mike will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home, 5100 I-30 East @ US-69, Greenville, TX 75402, with Dr. Dewey Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery, Sycamore and Rosemound Dr., Commerce, TX 75428.
Pallbearers will be Jason Hudson, Jeff Hudson, Jim Hudson, Jon Hudson, Brad Nance and Jimmy Taylor.
