Our sincere condolences to you and your family as no one can share your grief of recent days. We are at a loss as to how to even express it though we hope you appreciate our respect for your strength during this time. Our history goes back many years though our lives went in different directions. We wish you well and hold your family close. They will do the same back. Rick and Sandy

I first meet Jimmie Wofford at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in the early 1980s, and I taught with her at Greenville High School during the mid-1980s. I left Greenville High School and finished a graduate degree in 1990. I was Director of Teacher Education for 28 years at Maryville College. I have taught, given speeches and presentations in education in 8 different countries. In all of theses places I have never met a more effective teacher than Jimmie Wofford. I am sad for the children who never experienced her as their teacher, She was the best. Terry Simpson
