Lee and I, and later with Laura and my wife Dot, had many good times together in Montgomery, T-Town, Panama City Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and many other places. But his favorite place to be was in a rustic beach bar in Panama City enjoying oysters on the half shell. He was one of my oldest friends, and I will miss him greatly.

Clayton, I knew our father at Lanier. We enjoyed our Boy Scout adventures. He was a wonderful man. I know you will miss him.

I wish him fair winds and following sea.

Clayton, I held your parents in high regard. Your moher was always an effective advocate for enrichment in Greenville ISD. She was fun to be around. I enjoyed reading about your dad's life and work. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Rebecca, and Benjamin. I know you are following in their footsteps with Benjamin. It was such a pleasure to be your teacher and to see you excelling in all you did. Laura and Lee left you a beautiful legacy. Love, Wendy Dickson
