Being a Revelon kid, I knew Randy and his parents. I later ended up working for Mary Lou in the Tax Assessor's Hunt County office. I had my first child while working there in 1978! Long time ago but I would run into Mary Lou and James at garage sales in later years and we would always stop and catch up for a few minutes. I have very fond memories of Mary Lou, her kindness and sweet smile. I have sweet assurance knowing where she is now.

From the time we joined Highland Terrace, Mary Lou always made us feel welcome. She greeted us by name and was interested in the events in our lives. She was a Godly woman who lived her faith and will truly be missed at HT. I know she is resting in the arms of her Savior. God bless James and the rest of the family at this time.

Judy and I are saddened at the loss your sweet Mary Lou, but we are satisfied in the assurance of her eternal presence before our Lord. We think back to our early years as a newly wed couple at First Baptist Greenvile and cherish our many years of working together and serving together. Thank you for the example set by James and Mary Lou that we still reflect on. Blessings to Vickie, David and Randy and all of the GKids.

Eulus & I are lifting your family up to our LORD - who is surrounding Mary Lou right now. We will miss her - but we certainly know we shall see her again one day - - Mary Lou was the epitome of a Christian woman - always loving, warm, positive, and sincerely wanting and doing for others. She leaves a legacy for us all to strive to meet. She was 'one in a million' and James - you are too - we love you and will do anything to help you in the days ahead. GOD bless you all.

How fortunate we were to grow up across the street from the Stephens. I remember many fun times in the neighborhood and at church. I'm not sure I ever saw MaryLou when she wasn't smiling. My parents treasured their long friendship with James and MaryLou. My sympathy to James, Vickie, Randy, and all who loved her.

It was my privilege to get to know Mary Lou in the past few years. She welcomed me into her home and treated me like family. I cherish the fond memories I have of her and her family.
