James (Boger) Weldon Hall, 85, of Point, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at his residence.  Graveside services will be Monday, July 26, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Quinlan IOOF Cemetery, under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville, with Dr. James Ralson officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Hall was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 21, 1924, but he was raised in Quinlan.  He was the son of Jimmy Hall and Elizabeth (Lizzy) Nunly Hall.  He was a retired carpenter, U. S. Army veteran of World War II, and a Baptist.

He is survived by his mate of 21 years, Joyce (Janie) Taylor of Point; several nieces, cousins and lots of friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and step-father, Robert Jonies.

Pallbearers will be Jerrard Thompson, Bill Hall, Johnny Ellis and Nick Pachnuik.
