 Annie Marie Evans, 81, of Greenville passed away February 28, 2010 at Greencrest Nursing Home.  Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Butch Bruton officiating.  Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.  Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Evans was born on July 28, 1928 in Grayson County, Texas to Henry Ellis, Sr. and Ruth Warner Ellis.  On June 7, 1947, she married William “Bill” Evans who preceded her in death in November, 1989.  She was retired from Wing Industries, and she was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.

Her survivors include sons Glenn Evans and Eddie Evans of Greenville; daughter Belinda Smith of Richardson; brothers Elmer Ellis and Henry Ellis, Jr. of Greenville; sisters Jo Ann Graves of Rowlett and Lula Belle Nichols of Josephine; grandchildren Brandy Evans, Austin Smith, Justin Smith, Amber Molina, Christopher Evans, and Lora Martin.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers James E. Ellis.

Pallbearers will be Justin Smith, Christopher Evans, Hershel Ware, Edward Martin, Randall Nichols, and Tracey Nichols.
