Beatrice O'Pry

Beatrice “Dub” O’Pry passed away on January 31, 2010 at Briarcliff Health and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. Mrs. O’Pry was born on September 24, 1913 in Mineola, Texas but lived most of her life in Greenville, Texas. She was a homemaker, a doting grandmother and an avid fisherman. She was married to Morris O’Pry on September 13, 1932 and had one son, Billy Fred O’Pry. Both preceded her in death. She was mother to three stepchildren: Morris (Buddy) O’Pry, Jr. of Bedford, TX, David O’Pry and Maurine Mirvic (deceased). She is survived by three grandchildren: Jennie Henicke and husband Ronny of Hurst, Tx; John O’Pry and Bill O’Pry of Bedford, TX; three great grandchildren: David Hare of Keller, Tx; Meghan Hare Dill and husband Josh of Lubbock, Tx, Kaitlyn O’Pry of Grapevine, TX; and daughter-in-law Barbara O’Pry of Bedford, TX.
Graveside services will be at Forest Park Cemetery on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Ray Boulter officiating. Visitation will be at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 at 1:00 PM until service time.
