Geneva Lee Browning, 89, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on March 23, 2024, at Briarcliff Health Center. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Yost, Rev. Mike Nichols and Rev. Paul Gould officiating. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Restland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Geneva was born August 8, 1934, in Greenville, Texas to W. E. ''Bill'' and Orene Berryman Mullins. She married Thomas Browning on December 21, 1951, in Garland, Texas. She worked for IBM until she retired and then worked as a secretary for Browning Trophies and Awards, Inc. in Garland. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Geneva is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Thomas Browning, son, Tommy Browning and wife, Christy; grandchildren, Jeremy Grandstaff and wife, Leah, Eric Browning and wife, Julie, Crystal Strickler, Lynsey Peskuski and husband, John; great-grandchildren, Kyler Anderson, Brennan Anderson, Aiden Anderson, Cason Grandstaff, Kane Peskuski, Jaxon Locke, Sloane Grandstaff, Montana Browning, Kingsley Peskuski; 4 nieces and 7 nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debbie Hardy; sisters, Maybell Cass, Mildred Nall, Margie Evans-Berryman, Shirley Matthews; and brother, Billy Mullins, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Blake Mullins, Tony Banks, Bobby Nall, Donald Nall, Jake Lambert, J. D. Lambert, Ruben Gonzales, Brad Morgan; and honorary pallbearers will be Rusty Evans, Bill Mullins, Jr. and the Horizon Class.

    Geneva was one of a kind. She was a friend for life, always saw the best in each individual, no pretense, just always a warm heart, a big hug, and the agenda was always you and your circumstances, not hers. Geneva touched so many lives, she will be greatly missed for a while, until we reach that other shore, bye and bye.!
